We were served by a friendly waitress in the outdoor beer garden with a couple of delicious light lunches. The food was fantastic, as you can see from the photos. The waitress checked on us occasionally and brought beer at regular intervals, making for a fantastic meal. The best part was being able to walk (or stagger) home afterwards. This local pub is ideal, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
We were served by a friendly waitress in the beer garden, enjoying a few light lunches. The food was delicious, as shown in the photo. We were checked on occasionally, just the right amount, and our beer was brought regularly to accompany the fantastic meal. It was perfect to be able to go home feeling content. Will we return? Absolutely! This is a fantastic local pub.
The owner was very welcoming and allowed dogs into the restaurant. The food was decent, but we requested extra gravy for the pie, which was necessary. The portions of pie and burger were large. I would consider returning, but would prefer smaller portion options.

Excellent food (I had the liver and bacon) and beer, good prices, friendly service, and lovely, cosy décor. Plus, the car park is conveniently situated right alongside the pub.
Lovely pub. Good ales and food. Would have got 5 stars but the fire was not lit! Just me being fussy because it was a chilly wet evening. Staff very good as well.
We had the best sea bass dish ever at this amazing village pub! The warm and welcoming bar staff served some of the best food we've ever had.
