we called without booking, nice lady checks if they could fit us. simple menu, but great eating! we ordered half a chicken and it was like advertised a whole juicy half-huh with lots of nice veg, brilliant yorkshire puddings and perfect flower cabbage cheese, good gravy too! friendly service and many natives seem to call in fora. drink and see a talk while I wait to collect their lunch on Sunday and I can gather and I can see why. we will definitely return. hidden gems

best Sunday roast I ever had in a pub. brilliant Veggie option. beautiful personal they take their friendly dogs on- inside or outside with TV screens _what more can they want

at dinner in the city entered the saddle. a warm welcome and enjoyed a nice dinner. eating was fresh and portions were huge! would definitely recommend for a local meal!

Friendly staff. I was aloud to wheel my bike through and store it in the Garden before tucking in to a delicious Sunday Roast beef and Apple pie. Will definitely return

large local pub with amazing eating to good trips. the garden is fantastic in the sun and big too
