Noche de curry ¡pero no hay curry! Fuimos en una noche de miércoles tranquila que era de curry y habíamos reservado con anticipación. Llegamos a las 8:30 pm y nos pidieron que miráramos el pizarrón con una selección de varias comidas, y en la parte inferior del pizarrón decía pollo al curry y luego me dijeron que el curry ya se había acabado. No sé por qué, ya que cuando llegamos había una mesa de 6 personas sin comer y quejándose de cuándo llegaría la comida. Otra mesa de 5 personas esperando a que se tomara la orden y escuchamos que querían pedir curry pero les dijeron que ya no quedaba. Así que se fueron. Finalmente, después de unos 30 minutos, una camarera que parecía no querer estar ahí...
We ring to make a reservation and spoke to Trevor who seemed very good. We arrived at said reservation time and waited 50minutes and still had not got served. The order was 4x fish chips we were told other people had made a reservation so they got served first we mentioned that we had made a reservation as well with Trevor and if we were not served in the next 10 mins we would leave that made it one hour since we arrived. The flies were terrible the place is very tired but finally the fish chips arrived with a good helping of flies. While we were eating our fish chips a big fat guy shouted that we were in The naughty corner I then discovered that this fat guy was Trevor I understand who happ...
Feliz de encontrar el restaurante lugar inesperado en la cima de una colina) y ser capaz de sentarse al sol. La dama amable salió y nos ofreció una selección de pescados y patatas fritas o hamburguesas. Elegimos un "peces y papas fritas de medio" y era una buena batuta y sabrosas fichas. No sé si esto es lo que siempre ofrecen o si hacen otra comida, pero golpeó el lugar en ese momento.
They say when in Spain you should eat as the Spaniards do. However, if your missing your good old British F&C's then don't look any further than the New Trinidad. Portions come in either small, medium or large. Be warned the large is only for the very hungry amounst you. As a bonus they have a quiz night every Monday and well as live music events. Tidy!!
If wilting salad, greasy chicken ,very anaemic chips is what you are looking for then this is the place for you. Waitress was was on a different planet (all of them). Then we must mention the flies. They were rife and trying to eat our food before we did. All in all an experience, one we could have done without. Just to finish the bill was totally wrong.
Hemos visitado Trinidad muchas veces y siempre hemos recibido un excelente servicio y comida. Bev, Trev y Lorraine son muy acogedores y hospitalarios. Las comidas son deliciosas, incluyendo pescado y papas fritas, noche de curry y pasteles. ¡Definitivamente recomendado!
