I believed the food at this restaurant would be amazing, but unfortunately my partner and I did not get to try it. We arrived early for our reservation and were told that the people at our reserved table still had about half an hour left. We left and waited, then returned to be told the table was still occupied. We were then offered to wait at the bar instead. After waiting for a while, we were informed that the occupants of our table were ordering more food, so we could either wait for them to finish or keep our reservation at the bar. This was disappointing as we had dressed up for a nice date night and did not want to sit uncomfortably close to other patrons. We paid our bar tab and left...
A stellar review. The Noble Lion and its staff exhibit impeccable attention to detail in everything they do. Their innovative menu changes with the seasons, offering a variety of new dishes to try. Popular cocktails include the Blood Orange Manhattan, J L Cocktail, and Raspberry Mule. Some recommended small plates are the Gouda Curds, Noble Wings, and Grilled Caesar Salad. For medium plates, diners enjoy the Buffalo Shrimp, Scallops and Bacon, and Calamari. As for larger plates, the Pan Seared Halibut and French [] are top favorites.
I was really hoping to give this place a 5-star review, but I was let down by the service. It was my birthday and I was expecting something special, but it didn't happen. My boyfriend's Pan Seared halibut was lacking in seasoning, but my Steak au Poivre was delicious. The Gouda cheese curds were average, but the toasted baguette with honey goat cheese and blueberry compote was exceptional. Despite the good food, the ambiance and service were not up to par. I felt like I was intruding on a locals' night out.
This restaurant is one of my top favorites! The food is incredible, the service is excellent, and my family and I keep returning for more. I have sampled a variety of dishes from their menu, and they have all been delicious. I would highly recommend the mussels, halibut, either of the steak options, or the scallops. You really can't go wrong with any choice! And be sure to leave room for dessert because they are all fantastic. This restaurant is definitely one of the best in the area!
My partner and I dined at the Noble Lion last night and we were both impressed with the amazing food. It may sound simple, but finding a restaurant with both delicious food and excellent service is becoming increasingly rare. The summer pasta with clams was outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed the massive Bacon Cheeseburger. I would suggest making a reservation as they were quite busy during our visit.
5 STARS anytime of day!!!! THE NOBLE LION!!! The name and the logo are already top of the line and so is the food, drinks (Old Fashioned), dessert, just about everything on their menu im sure..and NO annoying TV!!! Yeeees!!! Can not wait to go back to try the rest, met the owner as well, very nice guy, very nice European decor and the attention to detail!! even the bathroom is very nice and clean.
Everything about this place was fantastic. We had the Jagerschnitzel and the steak au poivre which was phenomenal. The sear and seasoning on the ribeye was spot on and a perfect medium rare. Finished with creme brulee and the toasted toffee, both were great but that toasted toffee was incredible. The waitress was prompt and delightful. Will definitely be back.
The restaurant offers an impressive menu with a wide range of vegetarian options and plenty of fish choices. The Mediterranean chicken was delicious with a rich and buttery flavor, making it one of the juiciest chicken dishes I've ever had. Our server was exceptional, striking the perfect balance of attentiveness and knowledge about the menu items.
This place has been cemented in our list as a favorite. A must see. The flavor of the food and drinks was incredible. Even down to the curry ketchup! The staff was friendly and welcoming. While the prices are high, the quality and portions match. The atmosphere is so much more down to earth, though. Can't wait to visit again!!
