After eating here I see why this place has such a good rating. Yes, this place is great for seafood. The fish is fresh, the shrimp is cooked to perfection, and the margaritas are great just make sure you tell the bartender how you want the drink made. I was pleased and impressed with every dish and bite. The best tip I can give you is to ask for the Oar sauce and dip it in everything! it's their house sauce, and it's great on fish, fries, and even the hush puppies. wow! first, I wish I had made pictures of my food, but at the first page I thought of myself for a bit in and never again. I just wanted to try this amazing food. I had the fish and chips (I decided to get cuddly geese instead of pommes.) I had never grieved, but I am in love with them! I also had a gator bite and that was delicious! Before I even try out the Cheesy bites, the server told me if I didn't like them, he would give me chips. also traded a drink that my buddy did not like for another, free. they clearly want the customer to be happy, and they succeeded. the atmosphere is also perfect! beautiful views add the perfect kitchen! 6 stars!

First time in Pensacola, Googled best seafood near me and this popped up. And yes, it was really good. My server was very pleasant and made me feel welcomed. I had the lunch version of fried shrimp and fish. Shrimp were fried just right.... wished there were more than 4! Can we talk about the fries? them! They were hot and crispy, yet soft inside. I would come just for them. Glad they served more than I could eat! Will definitely be back!

oar house is a fun place to go. eating is great, the service is good, and the children or adults can play in the activity area with horse shoes or volleyball. they have a big bar outside and inside. the view is beautiful with the boats in the marina. there are sometimes love music, you can eat inside or outside. only a fun place for local and tourist alike. love when I am in the city to this place! their crocodile stitches are always a hit. the service is always friendly, and we love to sit with view of the water, but there are many other options for sitting, including a rectangle bar space and covered seating. the sand volleyball court looks funny, but it has not yet tried.

This was my second visit to The Oar House and it has been fantastic both times. The fried pickles and fried fish were both spectacular. Service was fast and friendly. It was a bit chilly in the restaurant, due to cold temps outside, but otherwise everything was just wonderful.

great spot. great food, service and drinks at a very reasonable price. an interesting note...you have a tenderloin steak (filet) for $27,95! could it be good? it was an approx. 10 ounces perfectly cooked and tasty! if you like fullyball, they have that too.
