I went there with my brother today and we sat outside for lunch.We were made so welcome. It felt like I was in Liverpool and Whitechapel in old times.Food a treat. We stopped here for lunch and decided on the fish and chips. It was superb! We shared an apple pie with ice-cream and that certainly topped off the meal. Great staff as well.

Quirky pub, met with friends mid morning for cuppa and cake, very nice! Landlady has pinned hundreds of hearts to the ceiling along with a few Easter chicks

Lovely local pub and the effort made with Christmas decorations is just fantastic. Over baubles hanging from ceiling- great effect and atmosphere builder

Good beer. friendly atmosphere. friendly staff. just what you want from a local pub although I am not a local anymore.
