The Office Bar & Grill

Staying in the area of Mackenzie, there are very few choices so we thought we would try the The Office. Our first visit was an 8 out of 10. The food was excellent but the service was horrible. Our "server" rolled her eyes when I ordered a glass of water instead of an alcoholic beverage and when I did finally, after 3 trips to our table, get the glass of water it had alot of little particles floating around in it. To which she simply said.. "it's not that big of a deal, it's only Celery salt from our ceasars". While the exterior of this watering hole may seem rather nondescript, the impression quickly disappears on entering. The updated hunting lodge look and feel somehow seems to fit this pub/sports bar in laid-back Mackenzie. The surprisingly eclectic menu contains all the usual pub favourites, along with pasta, soup, salads, etc., and vegetarian and gluten-free choices for those on restricted diets. My Angus burger was one of the best-tasting I've had in a good long while, and my companion thoroughly enjoyed her taco salad, which was a cut above what is usually served in restaurants. We went here for a quick supper. Meals were very tasty. The waiter was quick to say the hamburger would be the best we'd ever tasted. It was pretty good! The meat was flavoured enough to be good but not overpowering. Not unusual in a good place ,but it was very noisy. Recommended

Typical pub style atmosphere. Love the log building, but I could do without the animal heads on the wall. The crowd was a fairly young crowd with a few children. A little loud and that made conversation difficult, but that is to be expected in a pub. Reserva una mesa ahora

My boyfriend and I enjoy the food here. We were a little bummed to see that the churro bowl with gelato was taken off the menu because it was amazing. Nice place to sit down for a meal with good service.

Waiting over an hour for food in a restaurant with only three other tables of customers is not acceptable. Will not waste my time here again. I came here 2 months ago and the result was the same.

Awesomely new motel . Comfortable beds , free WiFi , microwave, fridge and keurig coffee maker ???? very nice place with a friendly welcoming. We got in at 05:30 am. No problem ☺????????

Nice place for lunch, dinner, or a cold one, service is friendly, lunch was delivered on time and was very good
