I stopped by for lunch today, and surprisingly, the place wasn't very busy. So, I was puzzled by the lengthy wait for my food. I ordered the brat cheeseburger and opted for french fries on the side. Unfortunately, the fries were overcooked and difficult to eat because they were way too thin and cooked for too long. The cheeseburger itself was also disappointing; it was very thin and didn't have enough meat for the price I paid. The only real highlights of this location are its prime setting and pleasant atmosphere. They really need to improve the quality of their food and menu options. I see potential here, which is why I'm giving it two stars instead of one. Best of luck!
The staff was very nice check back with us often. The food was ok, nothing to brag about. The bathrooms, well the mens doesn’t have a sink to wash after using. The womens was ok, needed dusted faucet fixed. I don’t care how the kitchen is totally open to the public. Everyone going to the bathroom is right there, no wall to isolate the kitchen from common area. Walking out of the bathroom, you are pretty much in the kitchen. And that leads to outside. The menu says Coke cola, there is no way it is. If I’m wrong then they need it checked by their Coke vendor. I’m sure it’s a great place to have a bottled drink. Personally we won’t be back.
We visited on a night with live music, which added to the experience. The food was enjoyable but nothing extraordinary—I'd describe it as average bar fare. The atmosphere was quite loud, even for a bar setting. Our waitress was friendly and worked hard despite being busy. Overall, we dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $10–20. Here’s my rating: Food: 4, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 4. I recommend trying the Chicken Sandwich.
