The Office Pub And Grill

This little out of the way Pub in Kamloops has the best pub food in town at very reasonable prices when compared to the casual dining chain restaurants in town. My favorite menu items are the BBQ Short Rib Quesadilla and the Warm Kale Salad. My husband loves the Smokey Bourbon Burger and the Fish and Chips. The big star on this menu are the fries. Fresh, hand-cut and never frozen. They come with most menu items or you can order a side of fries for under $5. The drinks and service are also very good here but the food is GREAT!

We had great service at this pub, the food was good too. Unfortunately we visited on a Friday night, which is Karaoke Night. Now this usually is no problem however the 'performers' were excruciatingly bad singers! Now I don't wish to be too harsh one or two were up to the usual standard, a bit off key but as the alcohol flowed each 'singer' was worse than the last. This resulted in us eating our meal as fast as we could so that we could escape!

We decided to order delivery because pub food doesn't hold up well with Skip or DoorDash delivery. I tried the beef dip sandwich, which had plenty of flavorful meat and minimal fat. It was very tasty. The jalapeño poppers and shrimp popcorn were also delicious. However, the fish taco wasn't very inspiring. There are some vegetarian options available, but they are limited. It would be challenging for a vegan to find a satisfying meal here.

When I see a menu item like the Louisiana Cod Po' boy, I automatically think bold flavours and a well spiced fish........too bad that's not what I got.The cornmeal crusted fish was crunchy but bland on a decent brioche bun with lacklustre slaw, no heat or hint of the advertised garlic mayo. This pub/restaurant is one of the tenants in a strip mall beside Highway 1.I had an open face beef sandwich with soup and my partner had a plate of chicken wings. Both were typical pub food with no attempt made to make fancy them up. But the beer was cold, our server Miranda was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

Tho Office is an older bar in Valleyview it has been upgraded recently and has friendly staff and the food is not bad. I like this style of bar as it is laid back and everyone is friendly. We have been herefour or five times and it is a good place to have a couple and chill. Check it out. Have fun be cool.

Recently stopped by this restaurant for lunch and was impressed. The chicken goujons were excellent and our server was attentive, efficient, and polite. Overall, I would give it four out of five stars.
