The Old Black Swan

Lovely chilled pub, friendly and knowledgeable staff, tasteful decor and very dog friendly. We booked a table because we were camping nearby. However, the phone number on google is out of date (current owners have been in place since last August 2023). I found the new number in Facebook and had a prompt response on Messenger. They are good ale pub, reasonably priced and have been serving food again for the last 3 months apparently (been a couple of changes in ownership). Sunday roast was excellent served with fresh vegetables at £13.95. Very pleased we kept our reservation after reading a bad review on here

Called at The Old Black Swan, Crich, we had not been here before. Had pie, chips, veg and gravy and panini and salad and chips, together with a really nice beer. Delicious. All the staff were very friendly. Well worth a visit. If we hadn’t been driving we’d have stayed for another drink! Worth noting the pies are delicious and locally sourced, as is the bread. Sorry no photos to post just clean plates.

Popped in for a swift pint. Nice pint of local real ale. Took advantage of the bar menu and had panini’s and a cheesy chip cob and a couple of bowls of chips. Simple pub fayre served beautifully. Hot, tasty, well presented. Very good value. We could have stayed all day.

This cozy pub has a lovely beer garden. However, be cautious if you plan to eat there. We got there before 5:05pm, but unfortunately they had already stopped serving food at 5:00pm. There was no flexibility in the closing time, so we were unable to have a meal there. Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff at the restaurant were warm and friendly. The only issue I noticed was that the ladies' restroom could use some extra attention as it appeared a bit unkempt.

Our muddy boots were welcomed. Brilliant pint of Ay Up, and Landlord let us use the snug to eat our sandwiches. Just what our walking group needed. We will return.

Friendly staff. We had chips and beers. The chips were brilliant and the service was friendly and speedy. Would pop in there again anytime!

We went for a sunday roast beef dinner it was lovely perfect Christine barry.
