This restaurant is welcoming and the roast dinners are fantastic. However, I wouldn't recommend the curries. My partner and I both ordered the jalfrazie and it was disappointing. It seemed frozen, smelled rancid, and was watery with no flavor. The chicken was off and we couldn't finish it. Even after requesting it to be hot, it still lacked taste. Thankfully, we received a refund. Despite this experience, we would consider returning for other dishes as all our previous meals have been delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were very understanding and accommodating regarding the issue.
We had our daughters gender reveal here. The Old Millwrights Arms provided the food which was really good. The staff were fantastic and made sure the whole event ran smoothly. We decorated the place with balloons and posters which was great. The Pub is a great venue , had a nice atmosphere and the courtyard garden is a bonus. We was allowed to use a confetti cannon which made a big mess. They did not mind at all and the lovely bar staff got out the vacuum at the end and cleaned up for us. We had so many compliments about the venue. Would highly recommend this venue.
We were passing through Aylesbury on our Narrowboat to visit the Theatre and found this absolutely brilliant pub just a short walk with our dog, Ozzy the German Shephard. The pub had 5 or 6 real ales on in top class condition, the staff are realy friendly, especially with dogs. The pub is clean and tidy. Good range of spirits and single malt whisky,s. If you're seeking a fantastic Sunday roast in Aylesbury, then search no more! My wife and I enjoyed the beef with 3 slices, 4 vegetables, a perfect Yorkshire Pudding, crispy potatoes, and plenty of delicious gravy! My daughter's nut roast was also excellent, showing that it was not just an afterthought as it can sometimes be. Larris and her team were extremely accommodating, making our experience at Old Millwrights Arms unforgettable. For a top-notch Sunday roast in Aylesbury, this is the place to go!

The Millwrights has become my regular spot for drinks over the past few months, always warm and offering a great selection of well-maintained craft beers. Today, I brought my mother there for lunch. The food was superb - even my mother, who is known for being a harsh critic, said she really enjoyed her fish and chips. There's no better recommendation than that.
After having four meals the pizza the burger and the steaks here I am happy to leave five stars as it was always cooked to perfection, add that to a comfy seating,friendly atmosphere and great staff this pub The old Millwrights Amrs is my new favourite local! We had gammon and chips lovely big piece of gammon cooked to perfection beautiful chips I think they should get a five for there food I also been there for a roast with my daughter and her boyfriend it was lovely can't fault them value for money
One of the friendliest pubs I have been in for years and I worked in the industry for 16 years. Great beer,pizzas and service.Deserves your custom.
