The Old Paper Shop

I would not recommend this restaurant for families with babies. I went with a couple of friends who are also mothers, and our babies were sleeping peacefully without causing any disturbances. However, a staff member seemed to feel the need to apologize to other customers for the presence of babies, which made us feel uncomfortable. The staff member was also unfriendly when taking our order, and became annoyed when one of my friends requested an extra hash brown instead of toast with her breakfast. We felt unwelcome and won't be returning. Other mother friends have had similar experiences here, so we now choose to have our catch-up lunches outside of Crowland at more welcoming local establish...

There were a few more coffee shops in Crowland. Sadly, they weren't around for very long. The Old Paper Shop has been around for a number of years. They serves delicious cakes and sandwiches. I've visited there on multiple occasions in the past. Unfortunately this time I was unaware that they are closed on Good Friday. After making the trip, I found out it was closed. I'll give it another go.

I visited this restaurant today and had a delicious lunch. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and well-managed. I had a pleasant experience and also found the restroom to be clean and well-maintained.

The food was too expensive and the staff treated us poorly just because we couldn't locate a menu. They definitely need to work on their attitudes. I will not be returning and do not suggest you dine there either.

Closed due to staff shortages, but messaged the night before. Wasn't impressed as my friend came a long way to meet up with me.
