The Old Swan Inn - Reserva de mesa

I recently spent the weekend in Gargrave and booked a table at the Old Swan in advance. I am so glad that I did because Julie and her team run a fantastic pub. The Sunday lunch was delicious, with a great selection of beers to choose from. We even had to stop by a few times to try more! Julie also gave us some excellent recommendations for other restaurants in the village. The Old Swan is a must-visit when in Gargrave. I will definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited for lunch today. During the meal, we were asked if the food was OK and said it was. But it was only OK- not a patch on the Masons Arms, where we ate yesterday. My rib eye steak had been over salted and was not particularly tender. Maybe we were unlucky, but it wasn't nearly as busy as the Masons! Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Stayed in one of the rooms for one night whoever designed the rooms nailed it, everything you want for an overnight stay. Too many others fail to meet The Old Swan’s standards.

beautiful eating and cheap wine. beautiful personal. jade and ever served us admirable. only after a fire reopened. hopefully it blossoms.
