during the time of the covid so service was a bit strange, although still charming and effective. but young, oh young was eating well. all my friends and I (5 in total) finished another plate, and the star of it was all the steak pee. by far and above the absolute best steak pie I had ever had so far in the whole of England during my 2 years stay. Five stars only. the location itself is also very charming and welcoming, beautiful even. perfect in the late afternoon and evening.
My family and I had lunch here at the weekend and it was a throughly enjoyable experience from all accounts. The lunch menu had many delicious options and was good value for money. The service was excellent- no waiting around at the door upon arrival. We were well looked after throughout. I would recommend dining outside in the garden, as it’s right on the river and has a beautiful Mediterranean feel to it! 100% visiting again.
I came to old weavers on Christmas Day with my family, we had a table of 9. The staff and manager here made our experience so lovely and completely made our Christmas Day perfect! The service was fantastic, we wanted for nothing. The food with beautifully cooked and amazing value for money. We have decided to make it a Christmas tradition! Very welcoming, accommodating and friendly staff. Diverse menu. 7 of us had different things and they were all first rate. They didn't hesitate to alter dishes to suit the kids. We'll certainly go there again regularly. Reserva una mesa ahora
We had a lovely meal and also enjoyed the interior of this historical house. They specialise in pies and they all looked good. We tried fish pie which was delicious. Also good selection of local beers
We like old curious old beams and good service.You will find it all there.The dishes we ordered could not be faulted,neither could the friendly service ans within 100 meters from the Abode hotel
eating was very good and the management was very nice. they have a special deal for £22 with punting and it's good value. would definitely come back. their fish and chips were great!
