Fabulous food. Definitely some of the best tapas I've ever eaten. Loved that there were so many Greek tapas options and how good they were! The atmosphere inside was really charming. I particularly enjoyed the little paragraph of history on the back of the menu. Service could have been better ordering by marking your choices on a piece of paper is certainly more efficient, and I did enjoy that aspect, but is also pretty impersonal. More importantly, we did have to wait a long time on a relatively quiet night with our coats on indoors for our dishes to be cleared. Menus were pretty sticky. Wow, what a fantastic and vibrant atmosphere! The restaurant features an authentic beer-fed interior with plenty of seating spread across two levels and an outdoor terrace that’s lovely during the summer months. The vegan tapas menu is abundant and inspired by Spanish and Greek cuisine. After enjoying a few halves of the delightful Estrella Galicia, we ordered patatas bravas, roasted eggplant with vegan feta, garlic and tarragon pan-roasted mushrooms, fried halloumi with lemon, and hummus with pita bread. Everything was excellent. This is truly a wonderful place that I can't wait to visit again!

The Old Yard Tapas Bar offers distinct vegan menus for both tapas and lunch options. I tried the beetroot salad, patatas aioli, and boorekakia. The patatas were delicious, and the salad was enjoyable, but I wasn't a fan of the boorekakia as it was quite disappointing, especially since I don’t like vegan cheese. The staff were friendly, but the building could use some TLC and had an unpleasant smell.

For dinner, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Patatas Bravas, the Tapas and Meze Board, and the Whiting. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I would definitely return! Price per person: £30–40

I had a wonderful dining experience with excellent food and service. The atmosphere was delightful, and both the food and service earned a perfect rating of 5. The cost per person was quite reasonable, ranging from £20 to £30. Highly recommended!

They had a separate vegan lunch tapas menu with loads of different options. One of the tapas dishes was vegan black pudding and chorizo, it was really tasty. They also had small bottles of vegan (labeled) prosecco which was a nice treat! Reserva una mesa ahora
