The Olde Angel Inn

We had a pleasant experience at The Olde Angel Inn, with plenty of seating available in a charming shaded outdoor patio. The service was excellent, although it seemed like they were short-staffed. The appetizers were well-prepared and delicious. Our only issue was with how the beers were listed on the menu. Instead of providing specific details, they were rebranded with names like Angel Lager. When we asked the servers for more information, they couldn't help us, making it frustrating to order and evaluate beer flights. We suggest listing all beers with their precise source and name to enhance the customer experience and alleviate frustration for both customers and staff.

Restaurant/Bar review ONLYFood is 5/10.Service was good until it wasn't.Vibe: 8/10Had to send back burned food which was really disappointing. The server looked like he was mad at me for sending it back even though I told him I understood it had absolutely nothing to do with him etc. He avoided our table for the rest of the evening.The kidney pie was not great according to my partner even though it was recommended.The fish and chips were only ok...I will visit again because I appreciate the vibe and the historical value but the food is expensive and the quality is ok.

Fantastic atmosphere and really quite quirky. Great food and drink and very attentive staff.Rooms: Sadly I never actually booked to stay.Nearby activities: Niagara on the Lake is a truly wonderful tourist destination with the Falls a relatively short distance away.Walkability: The whole town is really very easy to explore. Fantastic selection of stores for Canadiana and everything else.Food drinks: Great.

Took my Texas friend who was visiting. She said the fish and chips was excellent, as good as the ones she had in Scotland. Hostess was amazing and helped us decide on an excellent brew- blueberry and watermelon.Walkability: Bus drops you behind city hall. Angel Inn is half a block away.Food drinks: Blueberry and watermelon beer was excellentNoteworthy details: Service was stellar

The food at this restaurant was amazing. The burger had a delightful taste, and the fish and chips were hot, fresh, and delicious. The stuffed mushrooms were particularly impressive. The service was a bit slow, as the server helped customers who came in after us before attending to us. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a comfortable, homey vibe.

The food here was awesome. I ordered the shepherds pie poutine and it was so good! The beef was cooked to perfection with a nice dark color and plenty of flavor. The fries were nice and crispy and the gravy was delicious. The building itself is a gorgeous old inn with lots of character. I'd absolutely recommend stopping by and grabbing something to eat.

My absolute favourite spot in NOTL. The food is always plentiful and delicious, the service is friendly and warm, and the atmosphere feels like you're stepping into a pub in the UK.

We had an amazing evening! The music was fantastic and the dance floor was so much fun. The service was excellent and speedy. We will definitely be returning for more drinks!

Fantasticly authentic old English pub feel, with a home counties feel. Great beer service.
