The Olde Angel Inn

Whilst on an organised trip to the falls, the coach stopped at Niagara on the lake. Walking around the town I wanted to have a drink and this place caught my eye. What a find! The list of drinks available was impressive and the atmosphere was that of a great public house. Whilst I did not have time for a meal, the plates served to others looked appetising. On another day, I would have definitely chosen off the menu. If you are looking for a place to eat and drink in this delightful town, I'd thoroughly recommend.

Do NOT book a room here for the night. There is live music directly under the rooms until 1:00 AM and it is so loud it reverberates throughout the room and vibrates the walls and bed. It sounds like you’re sitting next to the amplifier. The HVAC unit is probably 30 years old and and is also insanely loud. The wifi works only 10% of the time. The TV didn’t work at all. There is no parking. This establishment clearly prioritizes the pub over the hotel guests. $279 a night is robbery for such a horrible experience.

A nice pub located in a historic inn. We sat in the large patio that was very pleasant in early evening and made for a good atmosphere for conversation. The service was OK and the food was good. Prices were moderate.Great Inn

We were a group of 10 and they could not accommodate us together, 2 people sat at a separate table. The restaurant was infested with flies. The food was tasteless an all round poor experience and quite disappointing

I have dairy and gluten intolerance. The entree options are pretty limited. Either a salad or turkey sandwich with o’doughs bread.
