This place is known for their fried chicken plate that is really something! I’ve heard from a bunch of locals that it’s hot, juicy, crispy and delicious! It has a very light batter to it and it’s something you need to try when you’re close by to Pasadena City College when they have their swap meet here! They open at 11am and I showed up at 11:38am on a Thursday. There was already about 5 customers ahead of me but the cashier lady was fast and efficient repeating the order back so nothing gets missed. If you know, you know. This little hidden gem serves great Indonesian and Hawaiian comfort food classics. You truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but if it’s your first time, you must try the crispy fried chicken and the Indonesian fried rice. This place is clearly run by people who care about what they do, and it shows in the quality of the product. There’s not a lot of space inside, so it’s generally a takeout spot, but don’t let that deter you from trying it.

Family-owned hole in the wall for some really good food. The lady (possibly the owner) who tended the counter was super nice and friendly. Thank you guys for our delicious dinner tonight!

Nice place but too pricey for lunch. Food? nothing fancy. The atmosphere? Good! probably bustling at night. Not busy during the day time.
