This was my first visit, and it definitely won't be my last. The decor and atmosphere were fantastic. I went over Easter, and the staff were really busy, but they handled everything—serving meals, greeting and seating guests, and providing drink service—with a professional attitude. We had booked a table in the restaurant area but plan to try the pub area next time. One staff member was dressed exceptionally well, making it clear she was part of the team; while all the other staff did an excellent job, their attire didn’t quite match the level of service. June 2021 Great food, great service and amazing hotel (Thanks Ella) Today, 18th Jan 2022 The lady taking our orders at the bar and assisting us with the wine selection and meals was outstanding. She epitomises customer service. Also the chefs on today, what brilliant meals being prepared. Moroccan Lamb and the scotch fillet steak with red wine juz and mash, omg I could have liked the plate. WOW! Now that’s a schnitzel! Great meal sizes, hand crumbed schnitzels are crunchy fries. I came here and booked the casual dining area on a Saturday night and I know that this place is a bit of a party spot however I was unaware they’d seat us smack bang in the middle of the club. I had a blast because of it; music was a bit loud to talk to each other but the atmosphere was awesome. Great food, great music, good times.
We've visited this place a few times now, and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and cheerful. Ordering has become even simpler with the QR codes at each table for online orders. After having a terrible lamb pie at another pub, I was eager to try it here, and it did not let me down! The lamb pie was fantastic—full of tender, flavorful lamb. This is a fantastic spot for a drink and a pub lunch. The portions are generous, the quality is excellent, and the service is friendly. I particularly enjoyed the enclosed beer garden, which offered sunny springtime vibes, providing a lovely escape from the cold winter outside.
