The Original Pancake House

The restaurant has a steady stream of customers. We had to wait a bit until we were led to a booth for the two of us. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. The coffee was very tasty. We ordered the German Pancake with the treat (sliced strawberries and bananas with served with a strawberry sauce) on the side. It is dish is still as good as I remembered it from before 2020. Every person wore their masks and were respected their distance.

This place has served great food with large quantities. All this at a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a restaurant that has a loyal episode of people from seniors to families with small children. The only drawback is the small parking lot.

It is your breakfast stop when in Chicago, good selection and fast service. French toast is good and the selection of the different pancakes are equally good. The tables are cramped, but this gives him the whole American pancake house feeling.

There for gluten-free items, pancakes and waffles. It wasn't escaped! The chicken sausage was great too. The seating is a bit confusing, you have to wait for the service in a hallway. But overall it was worth waiting.

Year round Christmas tree?. Great biscuits engraving. What about the whole Christmas tree?
