The Original Pancake House

All in all the food here was excellent. The pancakes were simply heavenly and my meal choice, the Santa Fe omelette, was enjoyable. The atmosphere too was inviting and it was great to see the employees at work. However, the price was shocking. The meals themselves were fairly cheap but the drinks, good lord. One maybe 10 fluid ounce cup of orange juice was $4.99, with apple juice at $3.50. I can buy a gallon for only double the price, and our group was asked before we got the menu or had any idea of the cost. We were all astounded once we saw the bill, not to mention that we were incorrectly charged for extra drinks twice before we paid. In the end, more than a quarter of our bill was on those drinks. So please just get water there.

Food was good fresh, vast menu. Sunday afternoon, crowded smaller interior but clean w/fast service seating. Drinking class was not cleaned properly, white crusty residue on the brim. Waitress was slammed w/her tables a family of 6 so I didn’t bother about it she was great regardless. Reasonable prices considering location however hash browns are served as an additional side dish. The mushroom omelette and the Dutch baby are the best ever. Our server(I think his name was Eddie) was super attentive. My coffee was never empty and he followed up with our food to make sure me and my son were happy with it. Cant wait to go back

Diner is foos is diner food until its done well. Then its delicious and wonderful. This place is the best diner food Ive had in a while. It was sumple but done very well!
