The Original Stanford's Restaurant Bar

Our third time in over the past few years with similar experience. Waited 10 minutes to be greeted. Told there was only 10 min to order food. Drink was wrong. Got that straightened out. Unable to get a second drink because bar closed even though others were being served food. Was told we couldn’t eat outside because it was closed outside even though people were eating outside. When I discussed tgd situation with waitress and said I would write the corporate office about my concerns she said that they were short staffed, no manager for awhile. I said I noticed they weren’t busy. She said to “go for it.” The only good side was that the food was decent but not worth the snarling attitudes.

Never again. Had Kayla as a waitress. The first 7 minutes was amazing. After that, Kayla got a new table. She never came back. I had to go to the bar to get my regular coke swapped to the diet I ordered (Type 1 diabetic) and get my husband a water. The beer he ordered , when we sat down, didn 't come by the time the food did. The food came and everything was bland (minus the potatoes). Kids running around with no supervision. For over $100 for 2 people, we shouldn 't only see our waitress when waiting to ask for the bill. I 've worked at Landrys in corporate Pay roll....Tillman would be furious.Never again will I even think about it.Beyond disappointed.

I have to admit that the prices can be a bit daunting, especially during lunch like we experienced. My friend and I decided to share the club sandwich, which turned out to be a smart choice, but we couldn't even finish half of it between us. We ended up having the leftovers for dinner that night. So if you do go, the portion sizes justify the price. I must mention, the bacon on the sandwich is simply amazing!

We expected a vanilla chain experience but this restaurant didn't even meet these minimal expectations. Staff was very inexperienced and unfamiliar with their own menu and the food was very sub par. We typically stay across the street from Stanfords every year for an annual event. Can't say we'll ever be tempted to go back. Reserva una mesa ahora

reminds me of a texas roadhouse. on google it is listed as a seafood restaurant, it is no longer a seafood place than a texas roadhouse. that is, quality of their food is better. the place has a good atmosphere and the staff is friendly.

Excellent food and wine selection with surprising, reasonable prices. The dishes are beautifully prepared and the service is top-notch. There's a diverse wine list that is well-priced. I will definitely return!

Service was way too slow. We had reservations and had to wait 45 minutes before being seated and there were tables available.
