The Original Stavro's Pizza

Forty-five minutes later, I noticed that over 60 people had walked in while I was waiting. Many picked up large stacks of pizza boxes along with some sides. Another 10 to 15 minutes passed, and more customers continued to arrive while I waited for my two-topping pizza. I won’t be doing that again! Some people mentioned that the wait is like this all the time on Mondays and Wednesdays, and honestly, the pizza is just okay. Usually, they pile on plenty of mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, which gives it good flavor, but it seemed like they skimped a bit during the half-off sale.

Our first experience was great. My ham and cheese grinder was delicious (needed more meat) and my wife?s calzone was great. Second order?Grinder bread was almost burnt (so dry it crumbled) and again scraps for meat. Third order?added extra meat..got more meat, but it looked like uncooked deli ham from Oscar Mayer?plus they forgot the cheese. We tried one pizza, it was good..the sausage was overpowering?so we are on the fence about ordering again or try another place.

Absolutely disappointing. The pizza was on par with Chuck E. Cheese's, if not worse. It reminded me of something you'd find at a rundown bowling alley in a shady part of Jersey. The gyro was just as underwhelming, featuring a single slice of tomato, a quarter of an onion, and the pita had a stale, freezer-burned taste as if it had been reheated. I’ve never felt so let down. This experience was truly unappetizing and a complete waste of my money.

A family favorite for many years. The Greek Salad is well-deserving of the World Famous title. An absolute must try on their menu. Experiences have admittedly been variable. It 's possible to show up and wait a while, even with a small party. Pizza is good, especially when it 's half off. Not the best in town, but still good. Calzones and apps are solid as well. The pizza sauce deserves a 7, the dough an 8, and the cheese gets a 9. However, the value and service are truly outstanding, earning a perfect 10 out of 10. You absolutely have to try their Famous Greek Salad; it's exceptional and comes in various sizes. I stopped by for takeout, and my expectations were not just met, but exceeded.

Pizza wings were very very good this review is coming from someone from Queens N.Y. The wings were baked instead of fried. They were pretty good too not pigeon sized. The place was super clean. I really enjoyed my lunch.

Super nice, clean, small beach town pizza joint. Stavros has been here forever and there?s a good reason. Everything is good but the Greek salad is the best. You can?t go wrong!

I've visited this restaurant several times with my boyfriend's family and have also ordered takeout. I haven't had a single bad experience.
