The internet fails me again this place is overhyped. Paid $17 for their version of a Reuben, don’t expect anything close to a Reuben…it’s a turkey sandwich with sauerkraut. Skip the Italian the bread was so hard, mediocre sandwich…could have very well been from Panera. Detonator was too spicy for a sandwich, coming from someone who puts habaneros in my eggs..the thing was all peppers and 2 slices of turkey. Electric wizard was delicious, but that was the only one we’d eat again. Disappointing after spending $65 dollars on 4 sandwiches. If I’m dropping almost $20 for a sandwich, I expect it to be pretty delicious.I think there are better places to buy delicious sandwiches…the service was also...
The food at this restaurant is generally good, but it can be inconsistent. The bread, in particular, varies in texture from fluffy and tasty to chewy and hard. The ordering process in Ballard is quite disorganized, making it clear that the restaurant does not have the infrastructure to handle the large number of customers. Expect to wait in a crowded entryway for over 25 minutes for a sandwich that is made as quickly as possible. This issue has been ongoing for some time, suggesting that management has no plans to address it. This restaurant is not the best choice if you need a quick meal with a new hire or visiting friend. Your best bet is to visit right when they open or close.
Oh, I want to give you 5 stars…but I can not. I’m a regular. I often call in my order ahead. The last two times I have been told my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes…and both times it was over 45 minutes.Alas, I will return again and again. The food is so good and I do appreciate that these things can take time. However, I ask that you please be more realistic in your estimation on when said orders will be ready.
When I pass away, please make sure to bury me with a Rajin Cajun sandwich on gluten-free bread. We frequently make the long drive from Vancouver, BC just to indulge in one of these delicious sandwiches. Note: Suitable for those with gluten dietary restrictions.

Drove 25 minutes to get a gluten free sandwich, ordered at noon and they were out of gluten free bread already. Pretty disappointing considering they had only been open for 1.5 hours on a Saturday
The Rajun Cajun was very good, but the meatball sub was even better actually. Very good sandwiches!
#2 turkey with provolone instead of swiss. Delicious! Exactly what I was craving today
