Firstly I have been here before and had great experiences. On Friday I ordered a glass of the chardonay from the 5 or so options listed on the menu, when I went to pay I noticed they were charging $16, so I nicely pointed out the board lists the price as $12. The bartender took the bill and looked at it and he said “oh I gave you the more expenive wine” he then grabs the glass out of my hand as i am LITERALLY drinking it! He makes a point to pour it down the drain (the drink I have already been drinking…which was his mistake) and refill my glass with the $12 wine. I was so in shock I did not know how to react. To my shock, he then took the glass from my hand—while I was literally still drinking it—and poured it down the drain, replacing it with the $12 wine. I was so stunned that I didn’t know how to respond; I felt completely violated. Later, when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that he had added an additional 25% tip on the original charge without my consent. Having lived in NYC for a long time, I've always been patient with bartenders, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had in New York. I will never return to this place, and I strongly advise against it for anyone else. Mark my words: this place will likely close its doors within the year. Welcome to The Never Room.

Great service....but not a comfortable stool to sit on. Yeah, they 're all rickety, said the manager. This place is falling apart: time to invest in some basic comforts like chairs that your customers will want to sit on! There are too many other (comfortable) spots to have a drink in the neighborhood to rest on your laurels, The Other Room. Jeez!

Really delicious drinks, amazing atmosphere and staff was super friendly. Would recommend for anyone/ groups looking for a casual night out with a cozy atmosphere.

The menu is somewhat limited (I wasn't very hungry), but the atmosphere is sleek and stylish. It's definitely the perfect spot for a date or a nightcap.
