My experience here left me quite bewildered: I have watched this place open with great fanfare, I love the aesthetics of the space, and I enjoy greatly the fact that the menu is different than most other things around town.I also would like to revisit this place in the future as I suspect my experience may have been a rare off moment, but I remain skeptical and must report honestly, blindfolded to anything but the food itself. We visited a new restaurant in Lodi for the first time. The decor is modern and trendy with plenty of space. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking on us regularly and the wait staff was quick to clear our plates. We started with the Scotch eggs based on a recommendation from friends, and they were absolutely delicious - a must try. I also had the pineapple margarita cocktail, which was different from the typical margarita but still good. The staff was friendly and tried to help create a good experience. The food was a little mixed, but mostly excellent. However, if they expect a Michelin Star or Recommendation, they have some work to do. The pear and avocado salad had no avocado. And the regular green salad was almost identical. Husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary decided to have dinner there the atmosphere was great a British style restaurant wine beers and appetizers delicious true to England delicacies my husband had the shepherd's pie and I the fish and chips and for dessert cream cheese pudding....dont forget the flat bread..Shepard's pie served with lamb true to England's recipe magnificent!!!. loved the industrial look and the mood of this place. man and I tried this place to brunch and we are very happy that we did. they have many vegetarian and meat options. we tried their beet salad, french toast, welsh rarebit, buck rarebit, grilled cauliflower and porcini mushroom ravioli, fish and chips. they were all amazing. the server was knowledgeable on the menu options and was very accommodating. I would highly recommend the oxford kitchen. try this place for its delicious food and the chill vibes.
All the Cali feels with this one. Decadent spin on some of the dishes and drinks while perfectly balanced by the untouched originals. Gastropub meets homegrown fresh ingredients meets West-Coast-comfortable vibes. All this at a modest price. Throw in a well-balanced playlist with appropriate tempo and volume, friendly and attentive bartenders, and an owner who seems to jump in wherever needed (even on a Sunday)— the perfect home away from home for this traveler. We've been here for both brunch and dinner. Dinner wait can be anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes on a busy day like a Friday or a weekend. We haven't had a wait time for brunch yet. Get a reservation for dinner if you can.The food is wonderful, the drinks are strong. I was pleased with the quality of the service every time we've been there which as of now has been around 4 or 5 times since they opened.Will definitely be going back.
Well I forgot all about a picture. The Oxford kitchen is amazing. Makes you feel like you walked out of the San Joaquin Valley for just a moment, not just to get a big breath of fresh air, but to get a wonderful and delicious meal and our awesome waitress was kind, helpful and a wonderful person to talk to. Outside eating area is beautiful. Thank you Oxford kitchen, we will Definitely be back. This time pics will be posted!

The staff at this restaurant are really friendly. The food was good, I had the fish and chips. The batter on the bottom of the fish seemed to be stuck to the wax paper instead of being crisp. The prices were reasonable. My only complaint is that they ran out of ice, and for $4 I only received half the portion I expected.
