We have been to the restaurant several times in the last 12 months thoroughly enjoyed each visit lovely food, nice ambience great staff. However we booked a table a week in advance to celebrate my Brother in Laws retirement were very disappointed with the whole experience. On arrival we were met by a male member of staff at the door who did not engage with us in any way. My husband told him we had a booking for a table of 4 the time of the booking, he took what seemed like forever searching on the PC then picked up the menu's beckoned us to follow. He took us through the main restaurant in to the bar area where there was a table of 20 or so noisey rowdy males I don't have a problem with that...
We went for dinner tonight at 6, but unfortunately, our experience was not very enjoyable. Our waitress made a mistake with my order, as she didn't write it down, causing me to receive my second choice of Oyster Mushroom, Pea, and Spinach Linguini. However, this dish was too creamy and the mushrooms were slimy. Additionally, my partner ordered Gammon and Egg, but it was served with a pineapple sauce. Typically, gammon is served with either egg or pineapple, not both, so we were not pleased with the dish. Furthermore, my partner found the restroom to be unclean, with urine on the floor and toilet paper everywhere. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience and will not be returning to...
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and offers a diverse menu with a focus on gluten-free options. I highly recommend trying the fish and chips. The venue is dog-friendly, which may be a challenge for those with allergies, but the staff is accommodating and will happily move you to a table away from any dogs. Sitting outside during the pandemic felt safe, and I'm pleased that they are following proper hygiene protocols. The decor is charming, with recently updated tableware and cutlery.
eating was unbelievable, good value and good quality. the menu had a quite large selection and the whole food was delivered immediately and hot, you could say that all foods were made fresh. the staff was wonderful and attentive, also with the dogs that gave the place an even more pleasant environment. could not come back enough for a nice lunch or a pleasant evening; even a beautiful pint. they should look at this point.

This time, our dining experience was not perfect. We were unable to hear ourselves speak over a dog barking, although we have no issue with dogs being allowed in the restaurant. However, we believe that there should be a designated area for them. Additionally, the waitress was petting the dog and then serving customers without washing her hands. Despite these issues, the meals were consistently delicious.
Visited on Sunday for a family Sunday lunch. Staff was very attentive and polite. Food was nice although the service was slow and the soup was not hot it was cool. The roast dinner was lovely. I had the veggie option and oh my days the goats cheese and beetroot wellington was delicious hats off to the chef very fresh very tasty and I was very impressed. Will definitely return.
Went for my birthday meal at lunchtime .Still serving outside only dew to covid restrictions. Easy to book a table online I would recommend booking in advance if you want a table with a heater and cover you can cancel with 24hr notice for no charge as they take a 5 deposit ..Food was good but the service was very slow
I was here a lot to eat breakfast and now dinner. nice eating. great service and good price. also can take the dog that there are not many places that allow them. love the atmosphere

the park bar kitchen is a great experience. the ambiente is very welcoming and charming. amazing eating and service. the personal is very friendly. can't wait to go back.
