Where do I even begin? When I arrived at the bar, I found a large group outside smoking (and it wasn't cigarettes). One of them appeared to be the owner. I was surprised to discover they only accept cash, and to make matters worse, there were no beers on tap and the bottled selection was limited. They seemed to be running low on various types of alcohol or didn't have them at all. To top it off, they don't serve any food. It feels like they mainly cater to this group of regulars who gather outside to smoke pot. I would strongly advise against visiting this place.
I'm not sure where the eccentric person below me found a bar that accepts Bitcoin for drinks, but this bar has always been cash-only. It hasn't recently switched to that policy. If cash is a problem, there's a handy ATM inside. Anyway, the drinks are good, the beers are cold, and the prices are below average. It's a fun place to hang out any night of the week. They've recently opened a door between the bar and the sub shop, so you can enjoy great food until closing time.
It used to be the place to go on a Friday night. Almost empty that day. Surrounding business has impacted this bar it seems. While people have started to accept Bitcoins, this bar has gone the opposite direction and became cash only. We were sitting on the table nearby and bar tender told us that she is not supposed to bring our drinks to our table. Probably the last time I visited this dying establishment.
This restaurant is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. everytime I I need a superb meal, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head. Great and all sorts of food and a large menu.courteous staff, and agreeable ambience. And very important, the pay is reasonable. I sent my friends to this spot with no hesitation.

So came here tonight after playing hockey at Phillips Academy. Adult league hockey. Anyhow, wasn't sure what to expect but the beer selection was outstanding and the gal behind the bar (sorry didn't get her name) was awesome and super friendly. Nice local bar without any pretense.... Sometimes that's hard to find but it was really appreciated tonight!
Owner has pride in his team and his pub. It is a local bar, with a little bit of nostaglia and a lot of characters. Bartenders are GREAT and food from the Grill next door provide first class eats on a simple menu. Evan has moved this from a 1 star to a 4 star... Great spot for a no-stress, low-key atmosphere
I went around 7:30-7:45 PM and found that they were out of Tito’s. The hard liquor selection was practically nonexistent. I ended up settling for a warm Truly since a customer had donated a box. There was no food available and no beer on tap. Overall, it felt overpriced.
The menu should reflect the actual price you will be charged. Getting too old for surprises Example a large veggie pizza for $14 will cost you $15.50. The lunch IPA will cost you $9 So after tax and tip 1 draft will cost you aprox $13. Where is the ocean view-lol.

Best little townie bar in Andover. New owner has made lots of great upgrades. There's a pizza place attached to it and you can order all sorts of food right into the bar. When I'm having a beer in town, I'm having it here.
Great place! had a lot of fun and they have a great drink selection. The food from next door was really good and I think they deliver locally. 5 Start review all day!!!
