I went to dinner at the Parlour last night. We started with two delicious appetizers - Prawn Cocktail and Battered Mushrooms. However, when our main courses arrived, the Scampi was overcooked and my beef and chicken sizzler was tough. Although the presentation was nice, I ended up giving my dinner to my dog. The waiter handled the situation well, removing the cost of our meals from the bill. Because of his professional manner, I will give the restaurant another try and hope that the kitchen was just having a bad day.
I went to this restaurant for lunch today, not having been there before. I tried the prawn starter, which was delicious. We also shared a burger that was absolutely delightful, cooked perfectly (although I personally would have liked some sauce). The only minor issue I had was that the spicy chicken wings had sweet chili sauce on them, which wasn't spicy. I only ate two of them and left the rest. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant.
I dined at this restaurant on July 12th, 2022. The starters were fantastic, the main courses were exceptional, and the dessert was delicious. The staff was happy, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. Keep up the good work!
There was 11 of us for a meal to celebrate a special birthday and I have to say the service was excellent. We had a range of main courses from the menu and everyone thought the food was excellent and great value for money. Totally recommend this place and will be back.

Food just ok. Staff and service terrible as they seemed too busy chatting to each other. Ordered a drink that never came. This used to be the best eating establishment around but not any more. Background grunge music was terrible. Will not be back
We went for dinner on Sunday evening and I can honestly say it was the worst I've ever had! Steak inedible, no cutlery and staff dressed as if they were leaving bins out! Place has gone to the dogs. Didn't complain, just won't be back !!
Visited based on tripadvisor reviews and we weren’t disappointed. It was a traditional pub. Good food at very reasonable prices, with a good choice. Friendly staff. Really happy we chose to visit.
Once again a lovely tasty meal. Battered scampi for me and a huge burger for my daughter. Great service and fast delivery of food. Well done! Friendly staff too!
