The Peach Tree offers a charming atmosphere and excellent service. They are open for food all day, every day, which was very convenient for us during a Sunday visit to Shrewsbury theatre. My husband, a meat eater, had plenty of options to choose from as usual. I asked for the vegan menu and was delighted to find a variety of options: 2 starters, 3 mains, and 2 desserts. I chose the winter risotto and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we had to leave before dessert to make the performance, but I was informed that they also offer waffles and ice cream from the treat cafe next door, in addition to two fruit-based desserts. We have only been here for breakfast, and it is possibly the best breakfast in town! The veggie breakfast can be easily made dairy-free or vegan. The portion sizes are generous and keep us satisfied beyond lunchtime. The prices are neither cheap nor too expensive, but the quality and presentation are top-notch.
