You really can 't go wrong with crepes. They 're a fairly neutral taste and you just order the food you really like and that 's it. You get handed a little packet of gastronomic delight. Your favourite food, put in a little servíng device. Mine was a sweet one, all maple y and sugary. Could just as easily have been eggs and bacon, which I 'm sure would have been just as delicious. However, the genius move here is the serving hatch. They didn 't seem to have it open when I was there (It was fairly windy mind) but it must make them a fortune. Recently, I came across this Midlands gem @thepeartreecreperie located just outside of Lichfield at @heartofthecountryvillage and decided to make this a Friday afternoon treat to myself This! Was probably one of the best things I've eaten in a while. It's called a Galette buckwheat flour savoury pancakes loaded with salad, bacon, mushrooms, and goat's cheese. Heaven As their name may give away, they are also an excellent place for crepes. It is a very lovely place. We have been coming here for years and the food is always great. Service is fantastic and it is a lovely place to eat in. Also the Cider is amazing.
