We were looking for somewhere not a pub to dine while we were in town for work so we thought we would give the peppercorn a go. Well glad we did. The waitress was very helpful and the food delicious. The chef is an Indian...lady with experience in an Italian restaurant. I had the house made curry which was made with spices imported from India and it was amazing. My colleague got the battered Barramundi and he was quite happy with his fish. Food was very reasonably priced for Clermont on par with the local pubs. Arancini for entrée delicious as was the sticky date for dessert. Will definitely be back when I am next in town.

The food in this restaurant was a real surprise. My Barramundi was beautifully cooked with loads of flavour. My husbands steak was melt in the mouth. Our waitress was friendly efficient. Décor was cosy, with outlook on to the pool area. Much more...than we expected from a restaurant in a small country town.
Menu was very average. Steak,fish, and chicken.vegetables under done and no potatoe(chips only).surrounding ok, very dark.service very friendly ,alittle to friendly,wanted to enjoy meal without personal and loud questions.overall experience ok but not premium dinning as stated.nice country town resturant.

Great food. got the eye fillet medium rare and it was cooked nicely. Came out in good time. Great veges with meal and other peoples salad looked good. Eye fillet meal was $33. Before eating inside had a couple of beers out near pool. Would...go back.

During a recent road trip, my friend and I booked two rooms at Peppercorn. Manager Saskia and her partner were exceptional, and Saskia's cooking was truly top-notch. It was a memorable and rejuvenating stay.

The restaurant has a lovely and well-maintained environment, with a friendly staff and a delightful resident dog named Barney. It is a great place to stop by and explore the charming village.
the steaks we had here really enjoyed. a beautiful jewel in clermont and we had a nice relaxed dinner and dessert! yum!
