The Petersgate Tap

This was my first visit to Stockport and I decided to check out some recommended pubs after the lockdown. I was pleased to discover an excellent micro pub with a great selection of cask ales that were in top condition. Upstairs, they also had a variety of continental beers to choose from. The only downside was that the manager and bar staff needed to address the issue of loud language from some locals, as it can be off-putting to others. The constant use of offensive language, particularly the f-word, became tiresome after a few minutes.

Been trying to go here for a long time and finally got my chance and I wasn’t disappointed. Great choices of beer ales lagers and Stockport gin . We enjoyed a few hours in there and was very impressed with the service atmosphere and value for money drinks . You could spend hours in there trying all they have .

The drinks selection was not visually appealing and the restroom was in poor condition. There was a noticeable odor in the bathroom, so I opted not to use it. However, the wait at the bar was not too long and it was nice to sit outside on a warm evening.

We like it in here as beer consistently good and prices are fair. Upstairs sometimes has live music. We visited on a Saturday afternoon just for drinks. Can get busy and not loads of seating downstairs. Reserva una mesa ahora

Located just outside the Old Town, this restaurant offers a quieter atmosphere compared to the bustling market area. With a wide selection of ales and a friendly ambiance, it's a great place to unwind.

An absolutely great little real ale pub in the centre of Stockport. Has some very good beers with a friendly team and also live music at the weekends.

Stopped in unexpectedly. It was an open mic night, all acts were interesting good. Beer top, friendly welcome all round. Recommended :-D

Exellent selection of Real Ales Ciders. Ever changing beers great prices. Friendly staff willing to talk about the beers they have.

This is a fantastic local pub with a huge selection of beers which changes regularly, great gins, and great people
