There's one word that comes to mind when you visit B Lounge, and that is cosy. It's like a celebrity's living room, except one that hasn't been staged by a record company. It has a lived in feel. It's rustic and romantic, and you instantly feel at ease there. The only qualm I have however is that at the time we went during office lunch hours and did genuinely wait 45 minutes for our food once we'd ordered. It's such a shame because this place is really is great, and the food is brilliant, but many staff members whose line managers were less lenient than mine found themselves inhaling their food once it arrived and running back to the office. I 'll forever know this place as The Brunswick and I prefer it how it used to be, but still, it 's always got a lively and mixed crowd in here (never been in on a week day when it hasn 't been full of boozy city centre workers). Watch out for the house white wine (it 's not even a chardonnay, not sure what it was but we sent it back) which is absolutely horrid. The house red is a lovely shiraz so not sure why they can 't offer a cheap pinot grigio or similar. The staff seemed a bit clueless and managed to mess up our order. The Brunswick, previously called Finnigans Wake, is a proper pub situated on the run up to Piccadilly Station in the centre of Manchester. Unless you're willing to deviate from the very centre, then the quality of bars and pubs is not excellent, and The Brunkswick is one of your better options. It's a grand building on the corner of Piccadilly, contributing to its atmosphere and impressive architeture. Its got a full bar but the drinks are nothing particularly special. I found this pub to be quite perplexing. I would consider it a step down from Wetherspoons, with a sticky floor, peculiar clientele, a lackluster drink selection, and excessively loud music that makes conversation nearly impossible! While some friends really enjoy it here, I just find it to be odd. Drinks aren’t particularly cheap—still £4 for a Peroni and a Kopparberg—and it often attracts a rowdy crowd of football enthusiasts. The staff always seem a bit flustered and often forget things. I have nothing against budget pubs, but if I’m looking for affordable drinks and food, I would choose Wetherspoons every time instead of this place—sorry!

I really enjoy B Lounge. It has a charming rustic atmosphere, with long tables, cozy fireplaces, and homey decor that makes it feel inviting. In the summer, the outdoor tables in the decked garden area offer a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The food is quite good as well. I've tried the sandwich and soup deal for £5.95, which is available during lunchtime from Monday to Wednesday. We also indulged in the meat mezze on a Friday night, when they have drink specials (a double with mixer for £3.50). It's a perfect spot for starting your evening or enjoying a budget-friendly lunch.
B Lounge is a mixed cup of tea. It has some great live mic nights on from time to time, but having been here a few times when there's nothing going on I really can't see the appeal. The venue looks it's trying to achieve a glamorous look but misses the mark the beer selection isn't great either. It's not a place i'll be visiting again unless for a specific night. There are a lot more places with character and ambience than the B Lounge near piccadilly.
This venue is a far cry from its counterpart on Bridge Street. It seems unsure of what kind of bar it wants to be, which unfortunately puts off everyone except those who are eager to drink with friends and shout to be heard. It's a shame because the Bridge has a much clearer identity and offers a pleasant atmosphere (plus, the Sunday roast carvery there is fantastic).
This visit was my first to the B lounge, and to my surprise, we were even able to sit outside and enjoy the very rare sighting of the sun in Manchester and it was a lovely afternoon, however, regretfully did not get to see much of the inside as my being there was to meet a friend to catch up! Which can only be motive to go back and update my review!

Firstly , the wonderful lady helped assist us to find the best dinner and beer to accompany it . She then spent time making us welcome and charged my phone for us . This place is somewhere you can enjoy rather than worry about others . Highly recommended
What can I say about the B lounge very nice place very good music very nice friendly staff not tryed the food yet so can't comment on that yet and very closed to the train station :
