"Haven’t been to the plum for ages. Outside area is really nice with heaters. Lovely friendly staff. We had a great night. Meals for four with bottle of wine and a couple of pints. Ninety odd pounds."

Today myself and my husband with his guide dog went for lunch. We were met by a pleasant girl who said she did not know if she could let us in with a guide dog. We said guide dogs are allowed under law. She checked...with her colleague who said he would check with his manager. He came back and said no dogs allowed. We again pointed out under the law we are allowed as he is a guide dog. He said no because of health and hygiene and COVID. The young girl suggested we sit outside with a heater and blanket. We asked to see the manager. She was very abrupt and said we could not come in. It was her policy. I said they were breaking the law add would she turn someone away in a wheelchair? She said of course not. My husband pointed out his dog was his aid and she was discriminating him for having a disability. This was humiliating and upsetting for us all. She was totally unsympathetic and spoke to us like dirt. How a manager with no people skills and a complete ignorance of the law can be put in charge is beyond me. This will be reported and will be followed up as my husband is a former manager of the Guide Dog Association and is well aware of the law. I don’t want anyone in this day and age to be treated like this. It is very upsetting and can kicks you in the teeth and knocks your confidence to come out and socialise. Absolutely disgusting service.

Charming, attentive and helpful staff made our visit an absolute pleasure. A simple but perfectly executed Whitebait starter with an excellent salad to accompany was more than enough to keep us happy, as we languished in front of the open fire in a beautifully decorated...environment, utterly fitting in Pershore High Street. Well done, gang! See you again very soon!

I visited for a Saturday lunch treat with a good friend. The waitress greeted us with a smile and let us pick our table. The food was very fresh and tasty, with a great choice of puddings. We stayed for coffee and spent over hours. We never felt rushed. Both service and food was impeccable, together with a warm ambiance. We will definitely be going back and soon!

Visited for Sunday lunch on a cold December Sunday and were soon seated close to the fire. The three of us had roasts, beef and pork, and they were excellent. Portion sizes were generous and very tasty. Stayed for desserts which were great too. Service...couldn't be faulted.
