The Picnic Basket

My third time for lunch. The mac n cheese is house style. I would probably have dipped the bread crumb to be a little Craspier and a little more seasoned, and I would like to have a bolder chewing taste, but points for serving tempo piping hot, super creamy consistency, and good reputation for the oversized elbow mac noodle. The side salad was an addition of $5 and a large compliment with roasted seeds, quality mixed greens and a super delicious dressing. If you decide between a toast/sandwich item and the Mac n cheese, go for the toast/sandwich. The bread comes from Companion Bakery and the best.

I was going to leave a a good review on the veggie breakfast burrito I ordered (which was delicious expensive but delicious), but as I continued to eat it throughout the day I noticed that there were bits of wadded up napkin or paper towel in the burrito. At first I thought it was my imagination or my own napkin, but nope. It was inside the burrito. The first photo shows the brown bits of napkin or paper towel.

Came in to get wifey a triple shot mocha. They have inside and outside seating and are located across the street from Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk volleyball courts. The service was ok but the prices for my white piece coffee was astronomical at over $7 for a Cup of coffee that wife he described as meh. Nope I will never go back and nope I do not recommend.

Please don't cut tomatoes in a triangular shape so they shoot out at the sandwich when I try to pick up my BLT. The bacon was delicious, but please keep your hair out of the lettuce. Also, please don't try to act so nice that it comes across to me like you're passive aggressive.

Had a meatloaf sandwich to go and it was great. Also came at breakfast and tried a seasonal scone. Finally we also came to try the ice cream and our group really enjoyed the pumpkin doodle.
