Location wise, not a bad place to grab a drink and some good deals to get. Was a bit confused by the staff member that served me, started walking away half way through me telling her what I wanted to drink and then was surprised when I told her she got my order wrong? Also not a lot of seating for a big place but was a Saturday night so you could forgive that. Not bad, good vibes and pretty fun!
Nice place, clean, friendly staff. Don 't expect wonderous things from the menu. But also, you won 't be disappointed. It 's got a great selection of 'pub grub ' that is very tasty. I had the pulled beef nachos and some onion rings for the table and it was delicious. Great location down by the sea, lovely views and a great indoor/outdoor atmosphere.
This restaurant is a great spot with a lovely open atmosphere and a good smoking section for those who smoke. The portions are generous and the food is pretty good, slightly above your average bar food. Definitely worth checking out!

The food at this restaurant was delicious and well priced. The salad was especially tasty. The view and location were also excellent, and the staff were friendly.
Service was exceptional. We came in late with a big group and couldn't fault the manager nothing was a problem. Food was great and fast service!
The Pier Bar was my wife and I's favorite pub in CairnsHappy hour is daily from 5pm-7pmThe pub food they start serving at 5pm as well.
