The lunch was absolutely delicious! We ordered the steak and ale pie, which came with a delicious gravy. I highly recommend trying out this hidden gem. The price per person is very reasonable, ranging from £1–10. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect 5-star rating. I also recommend trying the Steak Pie of the Day.

Visited with a walking party. So 9 of us had lunch. Food was ordered and arrived before us in a suitable time. All of us were impressed with the quality of the food, it's presentation and taste. We love coming to this pub, Tracy and her team are always friendly and welcoming. The Sunday carvery is excellent, with fresh food every time we visit.
