The restaurant offers good value for money, even though we had to wait an hour for our food. However, one of the dishes contained two sharp pieces of plastic, which was quite alarming. When we notified the staff, they offered us a fresh dish of the same potentially contaminated food along with a complimentary soda. Having worked in the hospitality industry before, I know that if a batch is suspect, it should be removed from service until the source of the contamination can be identified. Great little UK themed pub with friendly attentive staff, seating indoors or outdoors and plenty of parking right out the front. We had the spicy chicken salad and the gammon steak both of which were fresh, tasty and well priced and Carslberg was $8 a pint today. Being super critical, there wasn’t a lot of hot chips with the gammon steak but still acceptable for most. We will definitely be back to try more menu items soon. Price per person: A$20–40
I visited this pub for dinner and drinks after work and opted for the chicken loaded chips while my friend chose the pie. We were both very pleased with our selections! The food arrived quickly and was exceptional in quality. The prices were also quite reasonable. I highly recommend this charming little pub, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Took my favourite person for a surprise lunch today. I really enjoyed my Scottish pie, chips and beans with a side of haggis. My date was very happy with her chicken parmigiana.
