The Pita Pit - Reserva de mesa

We have visited this location on several occasions when passing through Listowel, and the experience is the same: Indifferent service and shortchanging on ingredients. We pay $2 more than a cheese pita for a cheese salad, my child only wants cucumbers as toppings, and they consistently use a spoon and measure out a teaspoon of cheese when you ask for cheddar or feta. We even ordered double cheese this last time, paying $1 extra, only to receive less than two teaspoons of cheese. This teaspoon of cheese issue has also been the case when ordering pitas, and when asking for more, we are told they can't. Passing through Listowel and the family and I stopped off at the Pita Pit. There is a large selection to their menu and the warm meats were cooked on the grill before being rolled up into a compact pita. My daughter had a large salad and she delighted in the choice of veggie selections. We 'd ordered the BBQ Rib, Southwest Chicken and Chicken Souvlaki. All were savoury and tasty. Despite the fast food feel for this restaurant, the service was quick and efficient. My kids kept on asking to return for another 'pita. ' Would definitely return again.

The service and food were both excellent. As a first-time visitor, I had many questions which were all patiently answered, ultimately helping me decide what to order. Although we chose takeout, there was ample seating available if we preferred dining in. The food was fresh and provided a great alternative to fast food. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant today to try something different. They offer a great selection of fresh options made with real ingredients. Very nice spot to visit. Staff were great friendly, attentive, offered good suggestions when asked and had a good sence of humor. Service was quick, lots to choose from. Staff helpful as this was our first Pita experience. Would return and recommend this location to others.

Whenever I need a lunch that is both FAST and GOOD I order from here. Staff are on the ball, and all the ingredients are FRESH. Food is prepared right in front of you and the portions are great. Thank you folks! I will be back again!!!!

I haven't been able to get a pita from this place since the pandemic started! When I work late and want a healthy and fast dinner, they are closed!!! I thought they would go back to their regular hours, but they haven't.

I was surprised at how excellent the food was, and the service was quick and friendly. Everything was as advertised, and the counter staff nice.

Have yet to have a bad Pita here. Always well made and they taste great! Have always had good experience with the staff as well.
