The Playground The Hilton.

I traveled all the way from Essex to Liverpool to visit The Playground at The Hilton for my friend's 30th birthday. My friend had been in touch with the restaurant since June to secure a VIP table, and I also reached out a few days prior to inquire about a party package. We were advised to arrive before 1 AM as they wouldn't open until 11 AM because of a boxing event. Upon our arrival, several staff members informed us that there was no table reserved for us, but they seated us in a small area while they sorted it out. We had to repeatedly ask for updates, and eventually, we were told that our table had been given to someone else, referred to as “Tina” from Shameless. Unfortunately, there...

The Playground at The Hilton was a huge disappointment! We arrived at 11:10 PM, just after opening, and paid what we thought was a fair price for a table. To our surprise, the staff shut everything down at 1:40 AM, despite the stated hours being 11 PM to 4 AM. The music cut off, and the lights came on without any warning! To make matters worse, we faced an aggressive bouncer, unprofessional dancers, and a manager who refused to speak to us in person, choosing instead to hide downstairs and insisting on handling the situation via email on Monday morning. I highly recommend avoiding this place!
