we were in the main kitchen for dinner earlier, it is not only good traditional cuisine well cooked and amazing portions. we decided for Sunday dinner as the renter told us it was wonderful and it was! massive plate, or bratkartoffeln, yorkshire pud, and tons meat I had lamb and my family had pork (with big cracks). massive gravey jug came with and not seen this before a gravy boot of the cheese sauce to over the vegetables. all tasted beautiful, was beautiful and hot and we were all filled at the end! of us, a pint everyone and all for less than I do not recommend this place high enough (unless they are vegetarian and then there was not much to choose on Sunday rental and waiter were very f...

Dropped in for lunch on a circular walk from Borough Green. Had two pints of Tonbridge Rustic, which was well kept and very tasty, and a cheeseburger, which was really good and came with masses of chips and salad. There was a roaring open fire,...which was most welcome as it was pretty cold outside. I'd say it is pretty much a local's pub, the landlord seemed to know everyone who came in apart from us, but he was really friendly and there wasn't that feeling that you aren't really welcome that you sometimes get in a pub like that. I'll definitely be visiting again.

My first visit to this pub in very many years and found it to still be a charming place to visit. Although a little off the beaten track the effort to get there was well worth it. Lunch was ordered and we were advised it...takes a little longer to be served as all meals are cooked to order and the wait was worth it. The food as well prepared and portions excellent. A nice selection of beers available. The Landlord and others were friendly and welcoming and made our visit enjoyable. We hope to return in the not too distance future.

discover this pub a few weeks ago, and decided to try the Sunday roast with some friends. we were not disappointed- generous portions, well cooked, delicious food and good value. excellent service, friendly staff and the renter made us very welcome. he even has. the left sewn to take home for the dogs! a real “Locals” pig and will return definitiw. ! We visited here today September for Sunday lunch. What friendly efficient service! Excellent portion size, welcoming smiles and friendly banter. Never rushed and checked on our wellbeing regularly. A truely delicious roast with three meats on offer, turkey, beef and lamb. Lots of veg...and homemade Yorkshire pud. Highly recommended!

from the beginning to finish the service, eating, table were all excellent. dinner huge and extremely tasty, as we are deserted. all our party said the same, excellent. many thanks to the staff and chef. with pleasure and all round great time.

I play for my local pub in a bat and trap league,we had an away game here this week,been a couple of times and absolutely love it,cozy,brilliant size and food is absolutely amazing,can’t wait to go back.

take away fish chips on Friday night was excellent. highly recommended. also do thai on Saturday evening to take roasts ands on Sunday.

Great little pub now my favourite local.... Ben the landlord is fab and very welcoming! Even for our mutts!!!
