Arranged to meet with a friend last Monday at 19.30, ordered a pint each to be told 15 mins later at 19.45 you need to drink up we are closing in 5 minuteswhat a joke, don’t bother going, this pub many years ago was great, not much hope the latest owners are going to change for the better, the garden is falling apart and has rubbish dumped in it like old tv Ariel’s a sad demise of what was a very successful public house. My husband and I looking forward to spot of lunch. However no Roasts, never mind! I opted for pie and mash and husband has a burger chops. When it arrived the chips were greasy and cold. My pie was chicken veg in dish with mash on top (not pie and mash I expected, was hoping for pastry... also drinks very expensive Price per person: £60–70 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Great pub, awesome location if you are walking the dog first, drinks are expensive though, we paid £16 for two drinks! Ouch! They have brought back the mixed grill on the menu, I will return to try it, as before it was taken off of the menu after Covid it was the best mixed grill in Surrey! Well done to The Plough for their Oktoberfest '23 they made a real effort and the bands were excellent (especially the latter two for our age group). Went to visit as heard under new management with children now being welcomed. Made to feel very welcome by the staff even with a toddler in tow. I had the bbq wings Jerk Chicken burger is amazing! Can’t wait to come back to try more of the food! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a lovely spot conveniently located just off Brighton Road. The staff and customers were all very friendly, and I quickly struck up a friendly conversation with them as soon as I walked in. It was cozy with a nice fire burning, making for a great atmosphere.

The restaurant had terrible management. They offered my 19-year-old daughter a job, but then failed to communicate with her for weeks. After several texts, they finally asked her to come in and work on a certain day.
