My daughter and I had a really excellent lunch at The Plough Effingham yesterday. We could not fault either the food or the service and would thoroughly recommend this pub. Parking: There was ample parking when we arrived. There were more cars when we left but still some spaces. we came 1st mai yesterday and had a really nice meal. my fish and chips were absolutely delicious and my partners have carved the same, so huge he fought to finish! very friendly pub, obviously very popular. we have booked late and at a weekend party had no choice where we should sit, so we were at the close end right at the door. The Plough is our local, and we're lucky to only be a few minute's walk away. We had dinner there last night and it was delicious, as usual. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is great. There's also draught Shere Drop, a massive selection of gins, and Ruby the dog!

a really nice pub. we enjoyed a good relaxed lunch with the little ones and the staff was really friendly and helpful. the food was really beautifully presented and our lamb was perfectly cooked.

Went here to have lunch with family a couple years ago and it had a rustic almost tavern like atmosphere.
