Recommended for a varied menu to suit all tastes and ages.Can sit in bar area, main restaurant, function room or terrace with parasols or on picnic benches with a lovely view of Soar and beautiful trees. Brilliant customer service from all the staff! Good system in place for outside service. The staff are so attentive to detail particularly during Covid.and it is speedy service. Never had a bad meal over last five years. Good lager, beer, cider, gins and wine selection. Best thing is we can be regular attendees as good value for money. Brilliant for parties, small weddings and christenings.
we had our high time here yesterday and the staff was amazing especially chris the manager. (then for our luck! Nothing was too much annoyed. eating was beautiful, can't recover enough. and we tell everyone we know! Many thanks for making our special day so much that we will never forget! love the birds! x
I can only give this restaurant 4 stars because I didn't stay long or try the food, but I think it's good. I returned today and changed my rating to 5 stars after trying their food and drinks. Highly recommend.
I was in the plow in many times and was never disappointed,beautiful pub with brilliant staff and eating is always good, I would recommend the pflug inn for anyone who wants a night beside the river.

Lovely as normal, we tend to visit early evening as it does get busy. Probably best to book otherwise. Nice meal Staff are attentive. You can dine outside and enjoy the river view, when it's nice.
Over from N Ireland visiting my daughter at Uni. Visited last night had a super meal. Great staff and a very good gluten free range. This was my second visit here and will definitely be back.
