Stopped off on the way to Winchester. We received a warm welcome, from the staff. The food was excellent. We a steak and a good pasta. The creme brulee was one of the best we have ever had and the homemade icecream is a must try. The choice of beer was very good. Dietary restrictions: They delt with them very well. Perfect country pub very close to Winchester in a sweet English village. Wonderful staff who are very attentive, great food and lovely refurbished rooms to stay in with all the amenities needed. Would definitely return to stay over night in one of the rooms. Also a great bonus they are dog friendly!
