The Plymouth Grill

I love my new home in south beach! this is a very special hotel from design to personal. the entire property is in untouched condition, and my room, a classic terrace (king was immaculate inside and outside and very well equipped. let me also add that I have read most negative reviews of this hotel before my arrival, and everyone is inaccurate and does not reflect the actual conditions of this hotel or any behavior. they were probably written by guests who simply wanted to complain or wanted to chat. everything about this hotel is perfect, and I am a perfectionist and immediately remember all mistakes where I go. this property is excellent! my only suggestions would be to offer free water when shutting down and not to charge for more than 2 Illy pods, especially as this hotel calculates a tourist tax. in any case, these suggestions are not very important to me in view of the entire service of the hotel. the personal makes this hotel truly spectacular. alex, the hotel manager, is really a jewel! she always has a big smile on her face and is ready to help in every way she can. Plymouth Grill is at Plymouth Hotel. It is a beautiful luxury hotel and well maintained. The service at Plymouth Grill was essentially not existent. I had made a reservation for lunch and when I arrived, I could not contact someone who could possibly help. I found a server that shows me in the direction of the tables. I finally ordered and was told they had no ginger-age. I asked for lemonade, but never got it. When my food arrived, the Mahi sandwich with Fritten was good, but I had ordered a salad instead of Fritten. After waiting for dinner for half an hour and when I was hungry, I didn't want to make a problem. My server seemed to have no problems when two young attractive women were sitting - he went by to serve them at the speed of a racing car. As I said, the food was delicious, but the service left much to wish.

There was no hostess to welcome you when you came in and only after we asked the rude bartender where we should sit, we were told "where". The restaurant was tired and old and many of the items on the brunch menu were not available. If one of the highlights is chicken and waffles yet you have no chicken (and it was not busy at all) that should tell you something is out. The guacamole could not be revived no matter how much salt we used to give it taste.

We went to brunch in the morning after our wedding with the families of the bride and the bridegroom. The service was TERRIBLE. The waiter was slow, gave orders for food and beverages and in total little attention. While the food was delicious and it had a nice ambience, I would NOT recommend based on the service.
