As a passionate steak lover, I've often found that steakhouses in Southeast Texas don't quite meet my expectations, which has prompted me to venture all the way to Lake Charles or Houston for a satisfying steak. I even jokingly lament to my wife about the often rubbery texture of local steaks. However, on a friend's recommendation, we decided to give this restaurant a try, and I have to say, I was genuinely impressed. The quality of the steak and the skill in its preparation were outstanding, and this place excelled in both aspects. I had a fantastic lunch here! The service was exceptional, and both the food and atmosphere were top-notch. I highly recommend this place! I usually rush through lunch four days a week, but on Fridays, I love to sit down and enjoy a leisurely meal, and this is one of my favorite spots for that. It's also great to see families dining together—definitely a kid-friendly environment!
The atmosphere was wonderful, but the only downside was that it was too dark to read the menu. If it weren't for that, I would have given it a solid five stars. I have dined all over the US, and I can confidently say this restaurant is at the top of my list.
The Pompano is an excellent choice for a date night or a girls' night out. The highlight of the menu is definitely the Kung Fu Ribs! Be sure to sit at the bar and enjoy the fantastic drinks crafted by Corby!

During my lunch break, I decided to stop at a restaurant. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was pleasantly surprised to find that they used a pigtail instead of bacon. It was delicious.
This restaurant offers a beautiful buffet with a limited selection of items, all cooked from scratch and excellent. The service was perfect and the fried chicken was especially delicious.
The food was delicious, making it a great choice for special occasions. The staff who served our table were outstanding, always available and eager to answer any questions I had.
I used to frequent this restaurant regularly and was very disappointed with the change to Bentons. However, I can confidently say that the quality of food has not changed.
