The Poppy - Reservar una mesa

Dined here for one night upon the recommendation of our B&B up the road. From the outside, the place looks simple but the cuisine is far from it. The Poppy offers two set meals for a set price; one in the early afternoon, and one in the evening. However, there is still choice among the items on the menu, depending on what is in season or what the chef has prepared. The beef bourguignon was tasty! Finish the meal off in the true French manner with cheese, then dessert. I would happily return if in the area again.

What a find! Just as other reviewers have said you would drive past here and not give it a second glance. Having read the reviews of others we decided to give it a try it is what it is. Don’t go expecting haute cuisine but if you’re looking for well cooked honest food in a casual and very friendly atmosphere, amongst the locals, then a great little place to go! There are not many places you can go to where you get 4 courses including a drink for the set price of €15.50

What a fab find while visiting the Somme monuments a great place to stop for lunch. A large restaurant with only a fixed price 2 or 3 traditional french courses including a drink such great value for €13/15 food was delicious we all enjoyed our choices and wine was good too!

Oh my word, what a disaster. The set menu promised little, delivered even less. Awful choice, just awful. We walked out after one mouthful of the steak main course, it was beyond awful; there are shoes without leather soles somewhere. Truly, avoid.

Always a good meal here and staff are great Also great value for 5 courses , drinks choice also great
