The Porterhouse Grill Rooms

Delicious steak of many different kinds can be had here as well as some tasty sides and desserts. Could be improved by having a wider range of low/no alcohol beer and giving a bit more sauce with the steak. It costs £3 extra to have a sauce so I think you should get a bit more than a tiny dish that many pubs would give you free ketchup/mayo in. Overall it's nice ambience and good cuisine but a bit variable on the value you get depending on what you order. Walkability: Easy to walk to from nearby bus routes and the train station. It was ok. For some reason our booking wasn't recorded but not an issue as they accommodated us with no delay. Which was nice. Food was just ok. I found my steak to be chewy. So did my partner. Our friend had a better luck but hers was more cooked so maybe we should have it done more. Place seemed very quiet and somehow cold in appearance. Just wished steaks were better.
