The Prince Of Wales

Great location for the end of a circular Dartmoor walk. We probably hit this place for Sunday lunch on the wrong day, it was Rememberance Sunday. They were clearly understaffed, and the staff that were there were trying their best, but very stressed and this 'short ' with customers. The backroom was cold, the food was also cold! Perhaps it is better on a quieter day.

We stopped in for lunch at this restaurant after a delightful walk on the Moor. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the beer, pies, and steak were top-notch. The pies, especially when topped with stilton, were the best we've had in a long time. The steak we ordered was cooked perfectly. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

The food was absolutely delicious. The Beef and Ale shortcrust pie was the best I have ever tasted! The restaurant is dog friendly, although it was very busy, which resulted in slower service. However, the staff were all friendly and the delicious food made the wait worthwhile.

The pub is fantastic, the B&B rooms are really nice, and the Jail Ale is excellent. The food is also very good - what's not to like?

Lovely pub. Busy but lots of room accommodating us walking in. The pie was amazing. Gravy slightly salty which was a minor point
